| I Will Keep My Clothes On This is a big issue. As a behavioralist this is one of the top reasons I am called to the home of a child with special needs. There are many reasons why they won't keep their clothes on. This book explains why they need to keep their clothes on and helps them recognize possible reasons why clothes bother them so they can express their feelings better. Sensory issues are a big reason for not wanting to wear clothes as you all know we like are clothes to feel just right on us. By using these simple strategies, I have found that many children learn to keep their clothes on and remain dressed throughout the day. This book can be used over and over again to teach your special needs child more appropriate strategies for dealing with things going on in their environment. Each item is handmade and then made into a PDF file (Adobe Reader File) so you can use this file and make as many copies as you would like. It’s a great addition to your collection of educational material for special needs children. We do sell the completed book of this which is laminated and bound for your immediate use. As a behavioralist with over 25 years of experience working with challenging behaviors and the mother of a 14 year old son with Autism, I began my career as an psychiatric technician and went on to receive a B.A. in Communicative Disorders and Assistive Technology. I currently provide products and services in Behavior Management, Assistive Technology, Communication, Environmental Augmentation in the home, school as well as residental facilities.
