| Weighted Peep A Boo Pillow (Puzzle Piece Fleece Material) This 9 by 8 pillow has multiple uses for a child with autism and special needs. The pillow is filled with Polly pellets and weighs between 1 and 2 pounds. There are a variety of toys inside that the child can find and manipulate in front of the see through window. It's a great way to keep a child busy and engaging in the environment around them. Because this pillow is weighted the child can hold it when they are having sensory seeking issues such as hand flapping, clapping etc. Holding the pillow is incompatible with self stimulatory behavior, gives them something heavy to hold that provides that sensory need they may have and gives them something to do with their hands should they engage in looking for the objects inside the pillow. This is a great way to meet multiple needs for a children with autism face. Check out our other sensory items like our weighted vest, lap pads, weighted blankets as well as other products in our store. |
