About Communication A to Z

Communication A to Z was created from a simple premise; to provide new approaches and strategies for people with special needs.  The goal was to help families, schools and homes provide the best services and supports possible.  During my career in providing in-home behavioral support I made many of the items you see in my store.  In time I realized that by opening a store I could help others who are facing the same challenges I see every day in my work as well as at home with my 15-year-old autistic son.  I set out to create Communication A to Z so I could reach other people out there looking for answers to how to help that special needs person in their life. 

Communication A to Z is now worldwide and has served individuals from all over the globe.  Each day I look forward to speaking with families of special needs individuals and helping through consultation, information, products and support.   Through our Newsletter I provide a variety of information related to special needs.  I stand with each and every one of you to look for a cure to this epidemic in hopes that someday, God willing, “Autism” will only be a word in our history books.

Communication A to Z began when I was working with parents of people with special need doing in-home behavioral intervention.  I was constantly reminded of the things the parents needed to help them work with their child.  Over time I soon realized that I could only help so many people so Communication A to Z was created.

As a behaviorist with over 25 years of experience working with challenging behaviors and the mother of a 15 year old son with Autism, I began my career as an psychiatric technician and went on to receive a Master of Science in Applied Behavior Analysis with a specialty in autism as well as a certification in Assistive Technology. I currently provide products and services in Behavior Management, Assistive Technology, Communication, environmental augmentation in the home, school as well as residential facilities.
