The Goal of Communication A to Z
The goal of Communication A to Z is to promote communication as well as social, coping and adaptive skills that create barriers to independence by providing alternative replacement behaviors that eliminate the need to engage in the challenging behavior. Our direct teaching methods involve individual respectful instruction that employs the use of "Applied Behavior Analysis," methods that have proven to be effective in promoting functional communication and everyday living skills, as well as increasing social interactions both at home and in the community. We provide the best researched based interventions and empirically validate approaches to reduce socially significant unwanted behaviors through positive behavior programs that work for you (my mantra).
